Operation Theatre Technician

Role & responsibilities

OT Technicians prepare the operation theatre before surgery by arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies. To assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by handing over instruments and maintaining a sterile field. To ensure proper functioning of anaesthesia machines, monitors, and surgical equipment. To follow strict sterilization and infection control practices. After surgery, to clean, restock, and prepare the theatre for the next case.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 1- 5 years of relevant hospital experience preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, OT equipment, and infection control practices.
• Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in a multispecialty hospital will be preferred.
