Operation & Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Daily Monitoring & Operation: Track transformer loading, oil/winding temperatures, and voltage levels using SCADA systems or local control panels. Perform grid maneuvers and switching operations as needed.

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Plan and execute routine servicing schedules, clean bushings, check cooling fans/pumps, and replace breather silica gel.

• Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct routine electrical testssuch as Insulation Resistance (IR), Winding Resistance, and Turns Ratioalong with oil sampling (DGA - Dissolved Gas Analysis, breakdown voltage, and moisture content tests) to detect early faults.

• Fault Troubleshooting: Identify, isolate, and respond to sudden system alarms, trip events, or oil leaks to minimize downtime.

• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain equipment logs, track maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs), and coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for major overhauls
