Role Summary:
Responsible for reviewing, validating, and authorizing payroll-related payments, statutory compliances, banking transactions, and accounting entries while ensuring adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and authorize payroll payments, Full & Final settlements, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and employee-related payouts.
• Ensure timely processing and authorization of statutory payments including TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and GST.
• Prepare and file TDS, TCS, and Professional Tax returns and coordinate issuance of statutory certificates.
• Review actuarial provisions for gratuity and leave encashment and validate related accounting entries.
• Authorize banking and treasury transactions, including vendor payments, trade transactions, and online/H2H payments.
• Review SAP accounting entries, perform ledger scrutiny, and identify unusual or outstanding items.
• Ensure compliance with maker-checker controls, authorization protocols, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Coordinate with HR, Taxation, Banking, Treasury, Plant Accounts, and other stakeholders for seamless operations.
• Support management with audits, tax assessments, and other special assignments as required.
