Opening For Manager- Cost Accounts

Job Summary

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost analysis, inventory valuation, job work costing, and operational efficiency tracking to support decision-making at Zeco Green Ltd. The role focuses on ensuring accurate product costing, variance analysis, and cost-control mechanisms across manufacturing and supply-chain processes.

Costing & Profitability

• Drive product- and process-wise costing with full cost centre mapping to generate accurate product-level profitability insights.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems for materials, labour, and ovheads.
• Lead cost reduction and process improvement initiatives to strengthen contribution margins.
• Prepare Pricing for new customers/products and conduct periodic competitor cost benchmarking.

Cost Control & Variance Analysis

• Conduct raw material, labour, and sales rate variance analysis on a monthly basis.
• Identify root causes of adverse variances and recommend corrective actions to management

Cost Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with statutory cost auditors to prepare and finalize Cost Audit Reports
• Prepare CAS-based cost statements and reconcile costing profit/loss with financial profit/loss.

Inventory & Stock Valuation

• Oversee monthly and annual physical stock verification across plants/SBUs.
• Manage inventory valuation in coordination with statutory auditors.

Budgeting & MIS

• Lead annual budget preparation in collaboration with cross-functional teams (production, sales, procurement).
• Consolidate and present budget figures and variance reports to senior management.
• Design and deliver MIS reports and dashboards tailored to management's decision-making needs.

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize Tally / ERP systems for costing, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Leverage advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for MIS dashboards and analysis.
