Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-level technical support to end users. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop troubleshooting, Microsoft Office 365 support, Windows administration, and basic networking. The candidate will be responsible for resolving user issues, managing IT assets, and ensuring timely closure of support tickets while meeting SLA requirements.Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Support Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and basic Exchange Online troubleshooting.
• Configure email accounts, Outlook profiles, and resolve mailbox synchronization issues.
• Install and troubleshoot software applications and security updates.
• Handle user account management, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage incident and service requests through the ticketing system while adhering to SLA timelines.
• Perform desktop/laptop imaging, software installation, and hardware replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, peripherals).
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for issue escalation when required.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user management.
• Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or ManageEngine.
• Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Qualification

• Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 12 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or SCCM.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise users.
