CONTENT WRITER PROFILE REQUIREMENT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write Compelling Product Descriptions: Create engaging and informative product descriptions that highlight the features, benefits, and unique selling points (USPs) of each product.
• SEO Optimization: Write content that is optimized for search engines by using relevant keywords, ensuring high visibility on search platforms.
• Product Research: Conduct thorough research on products to gather key details, specifications, and industry trends to create accurate and persuasive product listings.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the design, product, and marketing teams to understand product attributes and translate them into engaging content.
• Maintain Consistency: Ensure that all product descriptions align with the companys tone, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
• Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit content to ensure it is free of errors, maintains clarity, and is consistent in style and voice.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and best practices for e-commerce content to ensure the product listings remain competitive and fresh.
• Content Strategy: Assist in developing strategies for product content based on customer behavior and feedback to improve sales conversion.
• Social Media Customer Support: Monitor and respond to customer queries, comments, and messages across the brand's social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, etc.) in a timely and professional manner. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when required and maintain a positive brand image through all customer interactions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 3-4 years of experience in content writing, specifically in writing product descriptions for e-commerce websites, online marketplaces, or product catalogs.
• Writing Skills: Excellent command of the English language with strong grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
• SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding
• Research Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth product research and translate technical features into easy-to-understand, consumer-friendly language.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while working under deadlines.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style for different product categories and target audiences.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and product listing platforms, such as Shopify, Amazon, or WooCommerce, is a plus.
• Creative Thinking: Ability to think outside the box and create innovative product descriptions that stand out from competitors.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
