• Developing and implementing age-appropriate art curricula and lesson plans aligned with educational standards and student interests.
• Introducing students to diverse art concepts, techniques, styles, and mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and digital art.
• Integrating art history, theory, and criticism into the curriculum to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of art.
• Designing projects that encourage creativity, exploration, and self-expression, allowing students to develop their unique artistic voices.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Art Education or Fine Arts, or relevant specialized training.
• Certification: State certification or license in Art Education is often a requirement.

Experience:

• Required:2-5 years of experience teaching art, preferably in a K-12 or community education setting.
• Preferred:Experience in curriculum development, program management, and with diverse student populations.

Artistic Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in various art mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art).
• Art History: Knowledge of art history and various art movements.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with art software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate).

Interpersonal & Soft Skills:

• Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for instruction, feedback, and interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Interpersonal:Strong ability to connect with students, build rapport, and create a positive learning environment.
