Experience: 2 to 5 Years (Relevant Procurement Experience Mandatory)

Work Location : Chennai

Shift: US shift

Scope of the Role

• Managing end-to-end procurement activities including purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing Quotes based on requirement
• Coordinating with vendors, Sales and internal stakeholders for timely fulfilment

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Raise, track and process purchase orders as per approved requisitions
• Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers for cost, quality and reliability
• Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with vendors
• Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain inventory records in Inventory Management System
• Generate periodic procurement and inventory reports (stock ageing, reorder, consumption)
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SLA and TAT
• Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and vendor payments
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvement initiatives
