Opcenter Developer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Senior MES Consultant/Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Siemens Opcenter (formerly Camstar) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in both front-end and back-end development, including hands-on experience with Opcenter EX Core, MDD, and Mendix UI development. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, development, and seamless integration of MES solutions with enterprise systems (SAP/PLM) and shop-floor automation. Key Information

• MES Architecture: Lead the design, configuration, and development of MES solutions utilizing

Opcenter EX Core ,

MDD ,

Semi , and

Electronics modules.

• Full-Stack Development: Handle end-to-end development, ensuring seamless alignment between the front-end user interface and back-end logic.
• Tool Expertise: Utilize

Designer ,

Portal Studio , and

Opcenter Connect MOM for configuration and orchestration. 2. Integration & UI Modernization

• System Integration: Design and implement enterprise-level application integrations with

SAP ,

PLM , and shop-floor machine interfaces.

• Modern UI Development: Build and optimize user interfaces using

Mendix .

• API Development: Develop and maintain robust integrations using

Visual Studio ,

REST APIs , and

OData protocols . 3. Database & Backend Engineering

• Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex

SQL Stored Procedures to ensure high-performing data transactions within the MES ecosystem. 4. Testing, Deployment & Support

• Quality Assurance: Own the testing lifecycle, including writing test cases and conducting

Unit Testing, Functional Testing, and Integration Testing .

• Go-Live Support: Manage code deployment, actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide critical

Go-Live hypercare .

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive Technical Documentation and Test Case Documentation. Candidate Profile & Qualifications Must-Have Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with

Camstar / Opcenter EX Core / Opcenter MOM Connect .

• Proficiency with

Designer ,

Portal Studio , and

Connect MOM .

• Solid development experience in

Visual Studio ,

REST APIs , and

OData .

• Strong background in writing

SQL Stored Procedures .

• Proven experience in

Mendix for UI development.

• Prior experience with enterprise integrations (

SAP / PLM ) and shop floor machine connectivity. Good-to-Have:

• Mendix Advanced Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor (Semi) or electronics manufacturing verticals. Professional Attributes:
