Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Piling Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating piling rigs and foundation equipment to carry out piling and foundation works safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in piling operations, foundation construction, piling rigs, pipe piles, driven piles, and sheet piles, along with a strong understanding of site safety procedures and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate piling rigs, drilling equipment, and foundation machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out piling operations in accordance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and safety procedures.
• Perform installation of pipe piles, driven piles, sheet piles, and other foundation piles.
• Conduct piling activities while maintaining required alignment, depth, positioning, and installation quality.
• Inspect piling equipment before and during operations and report mechanical or technical issues promptly.
• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, riggers, surveyors, and construction teams.
• Follow all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and ensure safe working practices at the job site.
• Assist with positioning and setup of piling rigs and related foundation equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper handling and operation of machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of piling activities, equipment usage, and site operations where required.
• Ensure work is completed according to required quality standards, project schedules, and safety regulations.
• Participate in equipment maintenance, daily inspections, and routine operational checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and operational problems to the site supervisor.
• Perform other piling and foundation-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum NATIN or PTC qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Valid Rigging Certificate is required.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Piling Operator, Piling Rig Operator, or Foundation Construction Operator.
• Hands-on experience operating piling rigs and foundation equipment.
• Experience with pipe piles, driven piles, sheet piles, and foundation piling works.
• Good knowledge of piling operations, construction procedures, and job-site safety requirements.
• Technically skilled with strong attention to quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, site procedures, and method statements.
• Proactive, flexible, reliable, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a construction team.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction-site conditions.
• Willingness to work full-time and according to project/site requirements.
