Role Overview

This role is responsible for driving Food Safety, Quality Operations, Compliance, and Laboratory Excellence across the manufacturing site. The position will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure PepsiCo quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety & Quality programs at site level
• Drive compliance with Quality Management Systems and Food Safety standards
• Manage Analytical and/or Microbiology Laboratory operations
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal PepsiCo quality requirements
• Support audits, CAPA, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive performance improvements
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D teams
• Build strong quality culture through capability development and training

Key Requirements

• Master's Degree in Science / Microbiology / Food Technology / Chemistry or related discipline
• 7-12+ years of relevant experience in Food, Beverage, FMCG, or allied manufacturing industries
• Experience handling Quality Control, Food Safety, or Laboratory Operations
• Strong understanding of analytical testing, quality systems, and compliance requirements
• Team management and stakeholder collaboration experience

Preferred Experience

• MNC food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Analytical and Microbiology Laboratory Management
• HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000
• Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
• Audit and Compliance Management
