About this role
Role Purpose
To establish dedicated OMS data, reporting,and exception management capability for D2C operations. The role will ensureaccurate and timely order visibility, proactive tracking of delayed and ageingorders, and data-driven insights to support timely resolution of operationalissues and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1.OMS Data & Reporting: Extract, consolidate, validate, and maintain D2Corder data and prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
2.Order Visibility: Track delayed, stuck, and ageing orders; highlight pendingorders and potential SLA breaches.
3.Planned vs. Actual Tracking: Monitor planned versus actual order milestones andidentify deviations against committed timelines.
4.Exception Management: Identify operational exceptions, coordinate with relevantstakeholders, follow up on pending actions, and track issues through closure.
5.Analytics & Root Cause Analysis: Conduct first-level data analysis toidentify recurring delays, process gaps, trends, and business impact.
6.Dashboards & MIS: Prepare dashboards, performance reports, and concisemanagement summaries highlighting key exceptions and action areas.
7.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improved reporting, processstandardisation, and automation; support corrective and preventive actions(CAPA).
Key KPIs / Success Measures
1.Reporting Accuracy & Timeliness: Reports published accurately within agreedtimelines.
2.Order Visibility: Daily tracking and reporting of delayed, stuck, and ageingorders with clear ownership.
3.Exception Closure: Timely follow-up, escalation, and tracking of identifiedexceptions to closure.
4.SLA Monitoring: Timely identification and reporting of actual or potentialorder SLA breaches.
5.Analytical Insights: Regular identification of recurring issues, root causes,trends, and business impact.
6.Reporting Efficiency: Reduction in manual data consolidation and reportpreparation through standardisation and automation.
7.Action Tracking: Timely updates on corrective actions and pending stakeholdercommitments.
Qualification & Experience
-Graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, or arelated discipline.
-23 years of relevant experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, ordermanagement, or supply chain operations.
-Advanced MS Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, datacleaning, and report automation.
-Working knowledge of Power BI and dashboard preparation.
-Understanding of OMS/WMS systems, order lifecycle tracking, logisticsoperations, and SLA monitoring.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage daily reporting deadlines and multiple operationalpriorities.
Preferred Industry Background
-D2C and e-commerce operations.
-Retail and omnichannel order fulfilment.
-Supply chain, logistics, and last-mile delivery.
-Experience working with OMS/WMS platforms and large order datasets will be anadded advantage.
