Key Responsibilities

Okta Administration & Configuration

• Configure, administer, and maintain the Okta Identity Cloud platform.
• Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Adaptive Authentication policies.
• Design and maintain Okta groups, group rules, application assignments, and role-based access controls.
• Configure and manage Universal Directory attributes and profile mappings.

Workflow Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain Okta Workflows to automate identity lifecycle processes.
• Automate user onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and access reviews.
• Develop workflow-based integrations for CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Create event-driven automations for access requests, approvals, notifications, and compliance requirements.

User Lifecycle Management

• Implement automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
• Configure joiner, mover, and leaver workflows.
• Automate role assignments using user attributes, department, location, and job function.
• Manage access governance policies and ensure least-privilege access.

API Integrations

• Develop and support REST API integrations between Okta and enterprise applications.
• Integrate Okta with:
• Salesforce
• Drupal
• Internal business applications
• Troubleshoot API authentication, token management, SCIM provisioning, and webhook integrations.
• Develop custom connectors and automation scripts when required.

Access Management & Governance

• Implement dynamic group memberships and automated access assignments using Okta Group Rules.
• Design RBAC and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and support audit/compliance activities.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for identity and access management.

Application Integration

• Configure SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM integrations.
• Manage application onboarding into Okta.
• Support troubleshooting of authentication and authorization issues.
• Work with business and application teams to define access requirements.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Okta and any other Identity Cloud solutions.
• Strong experience with:
• Okta Workflows
• Lifecycle Management
• Universal Directory
• Group Rules
• RBAC
• SSO & MFA configurations
• Experience integrating Salesforce, Drupal, and other SaaS applications with Okta.
• Proficiency with:
• REST APIs
• OAuth 2.0
• OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• SAML 2.0
• SCIM
• JSON
• Experience with identity governance and automated access management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience with enterprise application onboarding and IAM architecture.
