I am comfortable both supporting other engineers in their delivery and taking the lead on key features as appropriate. I have delivered multiple projects that move the needle for the business. I have demonstrated technical breadth and depth; I am an expert in my domain.

This role is for a senior technical leader who provides technical direction across teams, mentors engineers, and owns the quality and delivery of complex projects. The position requires strong technical expertise, architectural judgment, and the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities while driving engineering best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver high-impact, technically complex projects that drive business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to engineers across teams.
• Own the quality, reliability, and delivery standards of team outputs.
• Define and evolve system architecture to support future product requirements.
• Champion engineering best practices, testing, deployment, and operational maturity.
• Make data-driven technical decisions and manage trade-offs in ambiguous situations.
• Identify risks and collaborate with product and programme stakeholders to resolve them.
• Share technical knowledge through mentoring, training, and cross-team initiatives.
• Contribute to hiring, technical interviews, and recruitment assessments.
• Represent the technology organisation externally and help attract strong engineering talent.
