Job Summary

Position Name: Sr. Officer-Production (Charging). Department: Production. Location: Angul Plant. Reporting To: Assistant Manager / Manager - Production. Grade: Sr. Officer. Function: Charging Operations. Shift: Rotational Shifts.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience in battery charging operations or similar manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of charging systems, charging parameters, and process monitoring.
• Knowledge of production planning, manpower utilization, and shift operations.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and operational excellence practices.
• Basic understanding of quality standards, ISO systems, and EHS requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve production-related issues effectively.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage charging operations during the assigned shift as per production plans.
• Monitor charging parameters and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and charging infrastructure.
• Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor shift performance and take corrective actions to achieve production targets.
• Maintain production records, charging reports, and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and statutory requirements.
• Support implementation of process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Train operators on charging processes, safety practices, and quality requirements.
