Job Responsibilities

• Support the R&D team in development and evaluation of Ayurvedic formulations and products.
• Assist in the dispensing, weighing and handling of raw materials required for R&D trials and formulation development.
• Support preparation of trial batches, experimental formulations and process trials as per approved procedures.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, dispensing and reconciliation of materials used in R&D activities.
• Assist R&D scientists in documentation of trials, observations, results and formulation development activities.
• Maintain R&D records, logbooks, worksheets and other relevant documentation as per SOPs.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance and Stores for availability and issuance of raw materials.
• Follow applicable GMP, GLP, SOP and safety requirements during laboratory and dispensing activities.
• Assist in monitoring the physical characteristics and performance of formulations during development trials.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and traceability of raw materials, samples and trial batches.
• Support preparation and compilation of R&D development reports and technical documents..

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Ayurvedic medicines, formulations, herbs and pharmaceutical raw materials.
• Understanding of Ayurvedic formulation development and manufacturing processes will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs and pharmaceutical documentation.
• Good observation, documentation and analytical skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
