    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A warm, service-oriented attitude and the ability to make clients and visitors feel welcome.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to independently manage daily responsibilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the willingness to take ownership of the physical environment.
Take ownership of the physical upkeep, organization, and presentation of the office space.
Conduct regular checks to ensure that reception areas, waiting areas, therapy rooms, meeting rooms, workstations, and common areas remain clean, neat, organized, and presentable throughout the day.
Arrange furniture, seating, d cor, and other physical elements to maintain a comfortable, functional, and welcoming environment.
Identify maintenance requirements, report issues promptly, and coordinate with relevant vendors or service providers for timely resolution.
Monitor office supplies and ensure that essential items are replenished when required.
Direct and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure that the office meets expected standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure that cleaning materials and supplies are stored appropriately and replenished on time.
Address housekeeping concerns promptly and maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness across the office.
Ensure that the kitchen is neat, hygienic, and well-stocked with essential supplies such as tea, coffee, drinking water, snacks, crockery, cutlery, and other pantry essentials.
Monitor pantry inventory, track consumption, and coordinate timely purchases and replenishments.
Coordinate the cleaning and organization of the kitchen area and ensure that waste is disposed of appropriately.
(This role involves kitchen and pantry management, not cooking or food preparation.)
Welcome clients and visitors warmly and ensure that they feel comfortable and cared for upon arrival.
Maintain a calm, pleasant, and inviting reception and waiting area, particularly for clients visiting for therapy or other mental health services.
Ensure that drinking water and appropriate refreshments are available when required.
Attend to basic client hospitality needs with sensitivity, professionalism, and discretion.
Be mindful of the emotional needs of individuals visiting a mental health organization and contribute to an environment that feels safe, respectful, and non-intimidating.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the office environment and streamline day-to-day operations.
Respond promptly to requests related to the physical workspace and hospitality requirements.
Take initiative in identifying gaps in office upkeep and addressing them before they become recurring concerns.
