About this role
- Key responsibilities include providing first-level assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, internet connectivity, email, user accounts, and commonly used office applications
- The associate will receive and track IT support requests, troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate IT team or external service provider
- The role also involves maintaining records of IT assets, software licenses, equipment allocation, repairs, and replacements
- The candidate may assist with setting up computers and peripherals for new employees, configuring basic applications, coordinating device movement, and ensuring that IT equipment is properly maintained
- Regular follow-up with vendors and service providers may also be required
- The candidate should have basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, Microsoft Office or similar productivity applications, printers, and common workplace technologies
