Job Description

• Seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer - SQL and ETL Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS ETL development, Data Warehousing, and Banking domain knowledge.
• The role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and managing enterprise data solutions aligned with business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and data quality.

Key Skills And Expertise

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above
• Hands-on experience in SSIS ETL development and data integration
• Strong knowledge of SQL programming, stored procedures, views, functions, and partitioning
• Expertise in Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts
• Experience in performance tuning and handling large volumes of data
• Strong understanding of Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, Star Snowflake Schema
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin
• Knowledge of database hosting, administration, and optimization activities
• Exposure to enterprise scheduling parameterization and batch processing
• Good understanding of Banking domain areas including Customers, Deposits, Loans, Cards, and Wealth Management
• Knowledge of Oracle Database will be an added advantage
• Awareness of current technology trends in Data Engineering and Analytics

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and partitions using SQL Server
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing database solutions aligned with business requirements
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy ETL solutions using SSIS
• Translate complex business requirements into technical data and ETL solutions
• Validate ETL designs and ensure completeness of business specifications
• Monitor and optimize database and ETL performance for large-scale data processing
• Implement query optimization, indexing, and partitioning strategies
• Design and implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms
• Support enterprise data warehousing and data mining initiatives
• Work on dimensional data modeling including Fact Tables, Dimensions, and Surrogate Keys
• Support database hosting, maintenance, backup, and optimization activities
• Coordinate enterprise scheduling and batch process parameterization
• Collaborate with business, application, and infrastructure teams for seamless data operations
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics
