Odoo Developer

Experience

• Odoo Platform: 7+ years of deep technical experience with Odoo architecture and development
• Programming Skills: Expert-level Python knowledge for business logic implementation, advanced PostgreSQL database management skills
• Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with Odoo's OWL framework
• Odoo Framework: Deep understanding of ORM, security models, workflow engines, and reporting frameworks
• Integration: Extensive experience with XML-RPC, REST APIs, EDI, and third-party system integrations
• Development Tools: Git, Docker, Linux/Unix environments, and DevOps practices

Platform Knowledge 

• Comprehensive understanding of Odoo's modular architecture and module composition
• Experience with Odoo's core modules: Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Project Management
• Knowledge of Odoo Studio, Odoo.sh cloud platform, and deployment strategies
• Understanding of Odoo's licensing models and Enterprise vs Community differences
• Experience with Odoo customization, theming, and white-labelling

Architecture & Leadership 

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture roles
• Proven track record of leading large-scale Odoo implementation projects
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud deployment patterns
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management

Business Acumen 

• Deep understanding of ERP business processes across multiple domains
• Experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Knowledge of industry-specific Odoo implementations (fintech.)
• Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Previous experience of leading an engineering team would be a plus.
• Contribution to Odoo Community or open-source projects
• Experience with multiple ERP platforms for comparative analysis
