Nursing Supervisor

Role & responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of nursing staff.
• Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care across assigned areas.
• Allocate duties and prepare/monitor staff deployment as per patient and department requirements.
• Monitor nursing procedures, medication administration, documentation, and patient safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection prevention practices, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing care standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing leadership, and other departments for smooth patient care.
• Address patient and staff concerns and escalate critical issues to the appropriate authority.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance of nursing staff.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage nursing teams and work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
