Job Summary


Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
• Valid Nursing Council Registration

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall nursing department.
• Supervise nursing staff across various hospital departments.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and monitor nursing duty rosters, staffing requirements and attendance.
• Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing practices and patient safety.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital quality protocols.
• Conduct nursing audits, staff training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with doctors, hospital administration and other departmental heads.
• Address nursing-related patient complaints and operational issues.
• Maintain nursing documentation, reports and departmental records.
• Ensure proper utilization of nursing resources and equipment.
