Clinical Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by following hospital protocols and surgical safety checklists.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during surgeries.
- Monitor aseptic techniques and infection prevention measures. Administrative Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily OT schedules with surgeons and relevant departments.
- Supervise and guide OT nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Maintain duty rosters and manage staff allocation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and statutory regulations. Equipment and Inventory Management
- Ensure OT equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Monitor stock levels of surgical instruments, consumables, and medications.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of OT equipment.

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (as per hospital policy)
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- OT specialization or certification preferred
- 5-8 years of OT nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred Skills Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of OT protocols and infection control
- Critical thinking and decision-making
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies Working Conditions
