About this role
- Maintaining sanitation & cleanliness of the unit.
- Receiving & transfer of patients with all safety norms.
- Sending sample (post operative) for diagnostic evaluation as per requirement
- Providing comfort measures give pschycological support to the patient
- Taking care of elimination
- Help & do positioning of the patient for different surgery
- Attaining in-service education.
- Collect sutures & expensive disposablesinstruments & return back the un-used materials after surgery.
- Help & do positioning of the patient for different surgery
- Lays the instruments for the case before surgery & maintains a count list.
- Assist the surgeon during surgery.
- Cleaning of instrumentsdisinfection & packing for sterilization.
- Assist scrub nurse during surgery.
- Working as a circulating nurse
- Assist in recovery room management
- Clean & give handover of instruments &other surgical items to CSSD for sterilization.
- Observing the patient condition & take prompt action
- Keeping surgery record & maintain surgery checklist. Keeping update record
- Helping in taking OT inventory both instrument & consumables
- Receive sterile item from CSSD to OT.
- Check sterile items Expiry & maintain FIFO ( first in & first out)
