NPD/ Strategic Sourcing (EEE)

Job Summary:
Responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization of Electrical & Electronics commodities to support new product development and ongoing production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure E&E components including Wiring Harness, EMS commodities like Switches, Sensors, Controllers, BMS, Motors, etc.
• Evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capability.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, VA/VE activities, and long-term sourcing strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Planning teams for technical alignment and timely deliveries.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs for sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-chain issues proactively.
• Should be responsible for Global Sources like for Active and Passive components, should dealt with China and Asia suppliers
• Knowledge on Import Inco terms

Skills Required:

• Strong technical understanding of E&E components.
• Good negotiation and analytical skills.
• Supplier development and sourcing strategy experience.
• Knowledge of cost breakdowns and commodity trends.
