NPD Manager Plastics

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end new product development projects for plastic products. • Develop innovative products based on customer requirements and market trends. • Select suitable polymer grades and raw materials based on product application. • Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams during product development. • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for new products. • Develop product specifications, BOMs, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation. • Plan and execute product trials, validation, and pilot production. • Resolve technical issues during product development and production scale-up. • Work closely with tool manufacturers for mold development and modifications. • Ensure products comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. • Manage multiple development projects while meeting project timelines and budgets. • Drive product improvement, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives. • Support customers during product development, sampling, and approval stages. • Mentor and guide the NPD team to improve technical capabilities and project executio
