About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop new products from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design development, and costing for new parts and components.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions for procurement of raw materials or services.
- Develop PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) documents for manufactured parts.
Job Requirements :
- 1-12 years of experience in NPD engineering role in the auto components industry.
- Strong understanding of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Proficiency in conducting research and development activities including feasibility studies, design development, part development.
