Nougat Bar Forming Line Operator

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Nougat Bar Forming Line Operators to operate and control nougat forming and cutting equipment on an industrial confectionery production line. The candidate should have practical experience in nougat slab forming, extrusion, guillotine cutting and slicing operations, preferably in chocolate-coated or aerated confectionery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the complete nougat bar forming line, from cooked nougat mass feeding to finished bar formation.

- Handle slab forming, levelling, thickness adjustment and continuous product feeding.

- Operate nougat extruders and control product dimensions, shape, feed rate and output consistency.

- Operate guillotine cutters for accurate cutting of nougat slabs or extruded ropes to the required length.

- Operate slicing and cutting machines to achieve the specified bar dimensions and weight.

- Adjust machine settings according to product specifications, nougat texture and production requirements.

- Monitor product weight, length, width, thickness and dimensional uniformity.

- Maintain proper synchronization between forming, extrusion, cutting, cooling and downstream enrobing or packaging operations.

- Identify and troubleshoot product sticking, deformation, uneven cutting, dimensional variation and machine feeding issues.

- Minimize product breakage, trimming losses, rejects and process wastage.

- Perform machine changeovers, routine cleaning, inspection and basic troubleshooting.

- Maintain production records, output, downtime and rejection reports.

- Follow GMP, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
