NodeJS Developer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact engineering team responsible for building and scaling cloud-native business platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Develop microservices and integrations supporting critical business processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Ensure application security, reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and global engineering teams.
• Support production systems and drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering excellence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and RESTful Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and RDS.
• Experience developing both UI and backend APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, test automation, and observability.
• Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with containerized applications.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
