NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop efficient, secure, and scalable server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and scalability, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code quality and stability.
• Debug and resolve issues, troubleshoot application errors, and provide timely technical support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Node.js and related technologies, and suggest improvements to enhance the development process.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and technical decisions of the applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects that showcase your skills.
• Proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem, including frameworks such as Express.js.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with back-end services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Understanding of containerization and deployment using tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
