Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Technical Leadership
• Lead the architecture and development of backend services using Node
• js and GraphQL ensuring scalability maintainability and performance
• Define API standards schema design guidelines and best practices for GraphQL queries mutations and resolvers
• Drive technical decision making conduct design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering standards
• Cloud Engineering AWS Azure
• Design and implement cloud native solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services focusing on reliability security and cost optimization
• Establish deployment patterns and operational practices for cloud workloads including monitoring logging and incident readiness
• Ensure cloud governance adherence including identity access management and secure configuration practices
• Delivery Collaboration
• Partner with product engineering and cross functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans
• Mentor engineers provide technical guidance and support team execution through code reviews and engineering coaching
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders and provide regular status updates

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications
• 9 years of overall experience in backend engineering with strong hands on expertise in Node
• js
• Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs including schema design and resolver patterns
• Strong experience delivering solutions on AWS and Azure including architecture deployment and operations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive technical alignment

Additional Responsibilities:

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building cloud native backend platforms with strong focus on performance tuning scalability and resilience
• Expertise in API lifecycle management versioning strategies and governance for GraphQL based services
• Experience implementing security best practices for cloud and APIs including authentication authorization patterns and secure access controls
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end to end from discovery and design through delivery and operationalization
• Track record of mentoring teams improving engineering practices and driving consistent code quality through reviews and standards
