Node Js Developer

Role & responsibilities

Backend Development • Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and NestJS. • Write reusable, testable, scalable, and efficient backend code. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs for frontend services and third-party integrations. • Build secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT and role-based access control. • Integrate external services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. • Implement logging, monitoring, caching, and error-handling mechanisms. • Optimize API performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure high availability and responsiveness. Database Management • Design and maintain database schemas and data models. • Work extensively with SQL and NoSQL databases. • Optimize database queries and indexing strategies. • Ensure data integrity, scalability, and high-performance data access. Clouds DevOps • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS. • Work with AWS services for hosting, storage, monitoring, and scalability. • Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation. • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Quality Assurances Testing • Write comprehensive unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library. • Ensure high test coverage and maintain code quality standards. • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices. • Utilize tools such as ESLint and SonarQube to maintain code quality. • Implement performance monitoring and optimization strategies. Security Implementation • Apply frontend and backend security best practices. • Prevent and mitigate: o Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) o Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF/XSRF) o CORS vulnerabilities • Implement secure JWT token management and authentication workflows. • Ensure secure API communication and data protection practices. Architecture s Leadership • Design scalable and maintainable software architectures. • Apply SOLID principles and design patterns such as Singleton Pattern. • Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams. • Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
