Node Js Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end backend architecture for one or more product lines, covering API design, service structure, and data modeling.
• Leads and mentors a team of developers; reviews code, resolves technical blockers, and enforces coding standards.
• Designs and optimizes PostgreSQL (or equivalent open-source RDBMS) schemas for high-concurrency, multi-tenant workloads.
• Drives sprint planning, estimation, and technical task breakdown in coordination with project and delivery managers.
• Uses AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or equivalent) as a standard part of the development workflow, for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and documentation, and guides the team in adopting the same practices.
• Ensures adherence to security and compliance requirements relevant to government IT delivery (CERT-In guidelines, secure coding practices, data protection under the IT Act / DPDP Act where applicable).
• Owns API security (JWT/OAuth 2.0), rate limiting, and request/response integrity for public-facing services.
• Participates in architecture reviews, client technical discussions, and third-party audits / VAPT remediation.
• Owns deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and basic DevOps oversight, working with the infrastructure team.
• Escalates risks and technical debt proactively to management.
