Node JS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, database management, and cloud technologies, along with experience in building secure and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop server-side applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, or message queues.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
