About the Role

Grey Chain AI is looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Node.js who is comfortable working with modern backend technologies and has exposure to AI-native development.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building, experimenting, and solving real-world technical problems, with the ability to work across backend systems, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with Claude / Anthropic and integrate LLM capabilities into backend applications.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in debugging, performance optimization, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with modern development and CI/CD practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Experience working with Claude / Anthropic.
• Strong understanding of backend development, APIs, and integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Azure or GCP.
• Experience working in an AI/GenAI or AI-product environment.
• Exposure to LLM-based applications or AI-native development workflows.
• Experience with scalable backend systems.
