NOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, cloud infrastructure, and devices using New Relic, PagerDuty, GCP Monitoring, and similar tools.
• Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
• Support Incident, Change, Problem, and Escalation Management using Jira/ITSM tools.
• Provide first-level support for network and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Support GCP, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes operational activities.
• Assist with software/infrastructure upgrades and troubleshoot upgrade-related issues.
• Participate in critical incident calls and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation.
• Identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements and automation.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar tools for troubleshooting, documentation, analysis, and productivity.
• Support knowledge transfer and training of new team members.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in NOC, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, or Network Operations.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of Linux and basic scripting.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools such as New Relic, PagerDuty, GCP Monitoring, and Jira.
• Good understanding of AI/Generative AI concepts and practical experience using AI tools.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and incident management skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
