About the Role

We are looking for a confident, articulate, and camera-friendly News Anchor / On-Camera Host who can present stories, news, interviews, and digital content with clarity, credibility, and energy.

The ideal candidate has a strong command of language, excellent screen presence, and the ability to turn information into engaging content for a modern digital audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Present news, current affairs, interviews, and digital media content on camera.
• Research and understand stories before presenting them.
• Deliver scripts naturally with confidence, accuracy, and appropriate tone.
• Conduct interviews with guests, industry professionals, and subject-matter experts.
• Participate in live and pre-recorded shoots.
• Collaborate with writers, producers, video editors, and the creative team.
• Adapt presentation style for different platforms, including YouTube and social media.
• Maintain professional on-camera presence and strong communication standards.
• Contribute ideas for new shows, segments, formats, and digital content.
• Stay updated on relevant national and international news and emerging trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  Strong command of English.
  Fluent Punjabi speaking skills are required.
  Knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
  Confident and engaging on-camera personality.
  Ability to read and deliver scripts naturally rather than mechanically.
  Strong research and storytelling abilities.
  Professional appearance and studio presence.
  Ability to work in a fast-paced media environment.
  Freshers with exceptional communication and on-camera skills are welcome to apply.
