New Product Development - Wires & Cable Professional

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of EV Wire harness / Main harness / Battery cable / Multicore cable
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs
• Conduct product feasibility and risk analysis
• Prepare BOM, cost estimation, child part cost estimation
• Develop prototype wiring harness samples as per customer drawing
• Develop internal drawing / Crimping applicator skill
• Coordinate with tooling, purchase, and production teams and develop tool/Jig/Fixture/Testing board/Laying board
• Ensure compliance with customer specification of wires and automotive industry standards
• Knowledge and conduct APQP/PFD/PFMEA/control plan/ PQCT preparation
• Customer communication for technical clarification
• Support testing, validation, and product approval from customer
• Prepare Sample / Layout inspection / Testing
• Handle engineering change requests (ECR/ECN)
• Prepare work instructions and technical documentation
• Development with supplier for new child part and find out standard part
• Customer interaction time to time any query and feedback require
• Arrangement of Tool, Jigs, Fixture, Futura machine program, Applicator, Inspection Instruments.
