New Product Development Manager

Company Description Eat Better Co. is a snack company founded in August 2020 with a mission to help people make healthier food choices without compromising on taste. The team focuses on creating packaged snacks that are both nutritious and flavorful, challenging the usual trade-off between health and enjoyment.

Role Description - The New Product Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end development of new snack products, including concept ideation, formulation, testing, and refinement to meet health, taste, and regulatory standards. The manager will coordinate cross-functional activities between R&D, production, quality, and marketing to ensure timely and successful product launches. Daily tasks include managing project timelines, overseeing trials and sensory evaluations, analysing market and consumer insights, and ensuring compliance with food safety and industry regulations. The role also involves optimising existing products, documenting processes and specifications, and collaborating with suppliers for ingredients and packaging innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Research and Development (R&D) with experience in creating and improving food products.
• Knowledge of Food Technology and Food Science to design formulations that balance nutrition, taste, and shelf life.
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of product development initiatives.
• Understanding of the Food Industry, including regulatory standards, quality systems, and market trends.
• Open to travel.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in a food manufacturing or packaged snacks environment is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation.
