About the Role

Asclepius Wellness Pvt Ltd is looking for a New Product Development Manager to own our product pipeline from first concept to launch. You will lead cross-functional work across R&D, marketing, and production, and make sure new products are designed well, sampled properly, packaged right, and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Product Pipeline & Delivery

• Maintain a robust, well-prioritised pipeline of new product ideas and projects
• Deliver new product concepts on schedule, from brief through to launch readiness
• Track project milestones, flag risks early, and keep timelines on course

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, marketing, and production
• Align teams on product briefs, priorities, and launch plans
• Run regular project reviews and keep stakeholders informed on progress

R&D & Product Design

• Work closely with R&D on formulation, trials, and product development
• Translate market needs and concepts into workable product designs and specifications
• Support product improvement and refinement based on trial and market feedback

Sample Handling

• Manage development samples, from preparation and trials to review and approval
• Maintain accurate sample records and feedback documentation
• Coordinate sample approvals with internal teams and, where needed, customers or partners

Packaging Development

• Oversee packaging development for new products, including design, material selection, and approvals
• Coordinate with marketing and production so packaging meets brand, cost, and manufacturing needs
• Ensure packaging is ready in time for launch

Vendor Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for new materials, ingredients, and packaging
• Obtain and compare quotations, and negotiate for quality, cost, and delivery
• Build a reliable vendor base for new product requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• Experience in new product development, R&D coordination, or product management in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of product design, sampling, packaging, and vendor sourcing
• Proven ability to manage projects and cross-functional teams

Preferred

• Experience taking products from concept to commercial launch
• Familiarity with relevant quality and regulatory requirements for your product category
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking tools
