About this role
- Handle new product development projects from concept to production.
- Study customer requirements, technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Design, R&D, Production, Quality, Purchase and vendors.
- Review 2D drawings, 3D models, GD&T and engineering specifications.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials), engineering documents and product specifications.
- Coordinate prototype manufacturing, assembly, fitment and testing.
- Conduct design feasibility, manufacturability and cost optimization reviews.
- Identify suitable raw materials, components, manufacturing processes and vendors.
- Support product validation, dimensional inspection and functional testing.
- Handle engineering changes, drawing revisions and ECN/ECR documentation.
- Coordinate pilot runs and ensure smooth transfer of new products to mass production.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve technical issues during development.
- Maintain APQP, PPAP, FMEA and other quality documents wherever applicable.
