New Product Development Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a New Product Development Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in product engineering and new product development, preferably in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components using CREO.
• Support new product development activities from concept through validation.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
• Plan, coordinate and execute product validation and testing activities.
• Analyze test results and support resolution of design and product issues.
• Manage components/parts, engineering changes and related documentation.
• Coordinate validation parts, test schedules and engineering deliverables.
• Work closely with design, testing, manufacturing and supplier teams.
• Support technical assessments and product improvement activities.
• Ensure timely completion of NPD and validation milestones.
• Exposure to Aftertreatment Systems (ATS) such as DOC, DPF and SCR will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical)
• CREO - 3D modelling, component design and detailing
• Product design and development
• Product validation, test planning and execution
• Component/part management and design change coordination
• GDT and engineering drawing knowledge
• Validation part tracking and engineering documentation
• Cross-functional coordination with design, testing, manufacturing and suppliers
• Good communication, ownership and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of automotive testing, validation and verification process
• Exposure to Aftertreatment Systems (ATS) such as DOC, DPF and SCR will be an added advantage
