Network Testing Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Network Automation Engineer with strong experience in Automation Testing, API Testing, Network Testing, Java, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, validating APIs, testing network-related functionalities, and ensuring high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications and REST APIs.
• Perform Network Testing to validate network protocols, connectivity, performance, and reliability.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Validate RESTful APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot defects, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution.
• Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test reports.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Framework development and maintenance experience.
• TestNG/JUnit experience.
• Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, Hybrid Framework knowledge.

Programming

• Strong coding skills in Java.
• Experience with Collections, Exception Handling, OOP Concepts, Multithreading.

API Testing

• REST API testing using Postman, Rest Assured.
• API validation, request/response verification.
• JSON/XML parsing and validation.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.

Network Testing

• Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Experience in testing networking devices, telecom products, routers, switches, gateways, or network applications.
• Packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
• Network troubleshooting and log analysis.

Database

• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to validate backend data and execute queries.

CI/CD & Tools

• Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps.
• Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Maven/Gradle.
• JIRA, Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Telecom, Networking, or Product-based organizations.
• Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Basic Linux/Unix command-line skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field.
• Relevant testing certifications are a plus.
