Network Support Engineer L2

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for network issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems related to routers, switches, and other network devices.
  
• Configure and manage router configurations on Cisco ASA firewalls, switch configuration on Cisco Switches (3750/6509), and network configuration on Fortinet Firewall.
  
• Troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; understand how these protocols work and their applications in real-world scenarios.
  
• Collaborate with team members to resolve high-priority incidents within SLA timelines.
  
• Document all resolutions to knowledge base for future reference.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in Network Support Engineering with expertise in Network Administration, Switch Configuration, Router Configuration, Network Configuration.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech / B.E.).
  
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP protocol suite; familiarity with firewall rulesets like Cisco ASA & Fortigate.
