About this role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Telecom OSS Network SME with 9 to 15 years of expertise in Telecom Network Operations, OSS platforms, Network Management Systems, and Service Assurance. The ideal candidate should possess strong domain knowledge in FTTx, IP/MPLS, Transmission, Wireless Networks, NMS/OSS Tools, Fault Management, Performance Management.
Roles Responsibilities - Lead OSS and telecom network transformation, migration, and support initiatives.
- Work on OSS architecture, network inventory, fault management, service assurance, and performance monitoring solutions.
- Manage telecom network operations across IP/MPLS, Fiber, Access, Core, and Transport networks.
- Analyze network performance and recommend optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design OSS solutions aligned with telecom requirements.
- Support incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Drive automation initiatives across network monitoring and service assurance processes.
- Interface with telecom operators, vendors, and stakeholders for solution delivery.
- Ensure compliance with telecom standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
- 9 to 15 years of experience in Telecom OSS and Network Operations.
- Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS Ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience in Fault Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management, and Service Fulfillment.
- Experience with IP/MPLS, Ethernet, Broadband, FTTx, GPON, Metro Ethernet, and Core Networks.
- Understanding of telecom network architecture and service provisioning.
- Experience with OSS tools such as Netcracker, Teoco, Cramer, IBM Netcool, Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM, Amdocs, or similar platforms.
- Experience in Telecom Digital Transformation Projects.
- Exposure to SDN, NFV, and Cloud-native telecom architectures.
- Knowledge of 4G/5G, LTE, Transport, and Optical Networks.
- Familiarity with Automation using Python, Shell Scripting, or Ansible.
- Experience working with telecom operators and managed service environments.
- Understanding of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM).
- MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BTech
