About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled
Network Security Engineer with a mandatory
CCIE Security certification to support and secure large-scale datacenter network environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in enterprise firewall technologies, secure network architecture, threat mitigation, and 24×7 datacenter operations. This role is based in
Hyderabad and requires prior experience working in
datacenter or managed services environments .
Key Responsibilities Network Security Operations
- Implement, configure, and manage enterprise-grade firewall and security solutions
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ASA, FTD, Firepower, and other enterprise security platforms
- Manage IDS/IPS, VPN, remote access, and perimeter security controls
- Support secure segmentation, zoning, and micro-segmentation strategies Datacenter Network Security
- Secure core, distribution, and edge network layers in high-availability datacenter environments
- Implement and support routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
- Configure and manage load balancers and network security appliances
- Ensure high availability and redundancy across security infrastructure Incident Response and Troubleshooting
- Lead resolution of critical security incidents within defined SLAs
- Perform deep packet analysis and root cause troubleshooting
- Support security investigations and remediation efforts Change and Compliance Management
- Execute change management processes including planning, validation, deployment, and documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal security policies, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks
- Maintain accurate network diagrams and configuration repositories Monitoring and Optimization
- Monitor security devices and network performance using enterprise monitoring tools
- Optimize firewall policies, routing configurations, and security controls
- Participate in capacity planning and proactive risk mitigation initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- Mandatory active
CCIE Security certification
- 8–14 years of experience in enterprise networking and security
- Strong hands-on experience in
datacenter networking environments
- Deep expertise in Cisco security technologies including ASA, FTD, Firepower
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS)
- Experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto or Fortinet is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with VPNs, IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex network topologies
Preferred Background
- Experience working in
Datacenter, Colocation, or Managed Services industry
- Exposure to Nexus switches, ACI fabric, and high-availability architectures
- Familiarity with ITIL-based operations and ticketing systems
- Cloud networking exposure (AWS or Azure) is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field
- CCIE Security certification (mandatory)
