About this role
- Network Security Design Implementation
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure gateways.
- Implement segmentation, zero-trust policies, and secure access controls.
- Deploy and maintain endpoint protection and secure remote access solutions.
- Monitoring Incident Response
- Monitor network traffic for anomalies using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, ELK).
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
- Automate detection and remediation workflows for faster incident resolution.
- Compliance Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with InfoSec teams to maintain audit readiness.
- Collaboration Documentation
- Partner with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to embed security in design.
- Document policies, procedures, and incident reports.

- Strong knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.

- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Ansible).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with incident management and SLA optimization.
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
