Network Security Automation Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Basic (1+ years) experience in automation with Python programming skills: 
  
• experience with backend / API testing.
• relevant contribution to development of an automation framework.
• solid understanding of OOP concepts.
• Basic (1+ years) experience with Networking concepts, protocols, traffic generation/inspection tools.
• Basic experience with Linux CLI, bash scripting, and virtualization technologies.
• Basic experience with API testing tools e.g.: Postman, Swagger etc.
• Basic experience with version control tools e.g.: Git, Perforce, BitBucket etc.
• Basic experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, TargetProcess, Mantis, Trello).
• Basic experience with Agile/Scrum development (Scrum, Kanban).
• Basic knowledge of testing methodologies including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing. Knowledge of various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and security testing.
• Basic experience as a Software QA Engineer with proven success in test planning, execution, and documentation.
• Good experience with analyzing requirements, identifying test scenarios, and developing effective test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Good collaboration and communication skills in English, with ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
