Network Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network devices, links, and systems through NMS tools
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for network alerts, connectivity issues, and link failures.
• Raise, track, and close incident tickets in coordination with L2/L3 teams and ISPs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2 engineers as per escalation matrix.
• ISP vendor coordination for network connectivity deployment in new projects.
• Coordinate with field teams and vendors for link or hardware-related issues.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and prepare daily network health reports.
• Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution.
• Participate in shift operations (24x7 rotational).

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP).
• Familiarity with network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Modems).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., EMCO,SolarWinds, Zabbix, ManageEngine, etc.).
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in 24x7 shift environment.
• Candidate having ISP background , Broadband installation, link installation, ISP coordination experience will be preferred
