Network Operations Engineer / Network Monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor customer networks and identify network faults.
• Acknowledge, assess, and respond to customer fault reports.
• Perform timely and accurate diagnostics and resolve faults wherever possible.
• Maintain accurate incident/ticket details and provide regular updates.
• Complete technical and managerial escalations within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, service desks, internal teams, external agencies, and third parties.
• Perform initial diagnostics across end-to-end services and resolve incidents/alarms within defined technical and time-based criteria.
• Manage reactive incidents through resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Perform 1st-line diagnostics and troubleshooting across IP and Data technologies.
• Ensure all ticket actions are completed within agreed SLA timelines.
• Follow defined quality procedures and operational processes.
• Support team members in day-to-day operational activities.

Mandatory Skills / Eligibility:

• Routing & Switching: Sound knowledge required.
• Routing Protocols: Strong understanding required.
• Networking: CCNA-level network knowledge required.
• CCNA Certification: Preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication and email-writing skills.
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech Engineering mandatory.
• Must be comfortable working in 24/7 rotational shifts.
